Standard-Knapp returned to Las Vegas, NV this September to exhibit at the one of the packaging industry’s premier trade shows, Pack Expo Las Vegas. Pack Expo events are always a wonderful opportunity for the company to exhibit its state-of-the-art end-of-line packaging solutions to thousands of industry attendees from around the globe. The timing of the show also marked a special opportunity for the company to publicly announce both a major anniversary and an international partnership with EoL Packaging Experts.

Standard-Knapp is joining the End of Line Packaging Experts

Standard-Knapp announced today that its shareholders have reached an agreement to sell the company to EoL Packaging Experts (EoL), to which the German company A+F Automation + Fördertechnik (A+F) belongs. This merger creates a globally active industry leader for end-of-line packaging machines and systems with an established presence in America and in Europe.

Pack Expo a Success for Standard-Knapp

Standard-Knapp recently exhibited at the Chicago, Illinois Pack Expo trade show on October 14 through 17. We were able to showcase our state-of-the-art packaging solutions to a wide range of industry professionals. This year, we chose to highlight two machines: our 949 Pic-N-Place Tandem Case Packer and Continuous-motion Case Sealer. It also happened to be the largest ever PACK EXPO International, seeing nearly 45,000 attendees with 2,500 exhibitors over 1.25 million net square feet at McCormick Place in Chicago. Many attendees came ready with projects in hand, looking for specific equipment solutions to satisfy their needs and make the best possible decision for their business.
