Pack Expo a Success for Standard-Knapp

Standard-Knapp recently exhibited at the Chicago, Illinois Pack Expo trade show on October 14 through 17. We were able to showcase our state-of-the-art packaging solutions to a wide range of industry professionals. This year, we chose to highlight two machines: our 949 Pic-N-Place Tandem Case Packer and Continuous-motion Case Sealer. It also happened to be the largest ever PACK EXPO International, seeing nearly 45,000 attendees with 2,500 exhibitors over 1.25 million net square feet at McCormick Place in Chicago. Many attendees came ready with projects in hand, looking for specific equipment solutions to satisfy their needs and make the best possible decision for their business.

Our machinery demonstrations and eye-catching new booth displays yielded many face-to-face interactions, allowing us to learn about many attendees’ upcoming packaging projects. The opportunity to discuss the successes they were having and the challenges they were facing opened further dialogue regarding engineering requirements, quality specifications, delivery hurdles, JIT challenges and more.
