Portland, CT – Standard-Knapp, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of innovative packaging machinery, announces the availability of a new flask-handling option for its model 939S Versatron™ Case Packer. Thicker lane guides now allow for safe and gentle packing of 100ml, 200ml and 375ml flasks.

Portland, CT – Standard-Knapp, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of innovative packaging machinery, introduces the Tritium™ Multipacker, a continuous motion multi-packer capable of handling applications in the food, beverage and personal care industries. With single, double and three lane configurations, the Tritium™ Multipacker swiftly arranges products into compact pack patterns and wraps the configurations in film, thereby eliminating the need for trays and pads. The Multipacker then sends the packs through an energy-efficient heat tunnel to tightly shrink the film around each multi-pack producing a consistent, wrinkle-free bull’s eye and bottom seal.

The high efficiency Model 199’s inline design allows for high speed, consistent sealing of all incoming cases, whether close-coupled to a case packer discharge or installed as a stand-alone machine. The continuous-motion case sealer offers speeds of 50-75 cases per minute, and features quick complete changeover in less than two minutes.

Within the TriWraptor TSUP’s footprint lies the ability to package PET, glass, HDPE, steel, aluminum and fiberboard into tray, film, U-board, pad and unsupported configurations. The TSUP’s unique wrapping wand design provides consistent, tight, wrinkle-free wrapping across a wide range of product shapes and sizes.

Standard-Knapp has wrapped up our 2012-2013 United Way fundraising campaign, and is proud to announce a record breaking year!

Employee participation reached a very strong 94.6%. The number of contributions surpassed previous years’ totals going back to 2001, when we had over double the employees (56 vs. 133.) A record twenty-nine employees donated $100 or more. The company matched all money collected, dollar for dollar, bringing the grand total to $20,341.36!

The 598 Tritium™ Shrink Wrapper is equipped with a 2-axis servo-driven wrapping module which is easily programmed to follow the contour of all incoming trays of product. This Robo-Wand™ wrapping module requires no physical change parts or adjustments and can run at high rates of speed. The Tritium™ Shrink Wrapper also features a precise servo-driven film cutting system which accurately cuts the required length of film efficiently and reliably. The servo-driven film cutting system can handle both clear and registered film, printed with marketing graphics and detailed product information.

Standard-Knapp, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of innovative packaging machinery, has announced its innovative Pic-N-Place module that picks the product from the infeed conveyor and gently places it into the bottom of the empty case. This module can be easily retrofitted onto existing 939S and 949S Versatron™ case packers.
